Grade 1 students have been busy exploring rhythm and beats with Mrs. Durham! They’ve been learning to identify songs by focusing on the rhythm patterns. Using heart rhythm mats and popsicle sticks, students practice recognizing and understanding different beats.
This hands-on approach helps them connect with the music in a meaningful way, enhancing their understanding of rhythm. It’s been a great opportunity for the students to develop their musical skills while having fun along the way!
