Mr. Taylor's Grade 5 students gathered for a special lunch to mark Good Thursday, also known as Holy Thursday, a significant day in the Catholic faith. This day commemorates the Last Supper, when Jesus shared a final meal with his disciples and taught important lessons about love, humility, and service. In the spirit of this tradition, students came together to share a meal and reflect on the values of kindness, community, and gratitude. They sat side by side and took time to appreciate the importance of caring for others—just as Jesus modelled during the Last Supper. This simple yet meaningful gathering reminded us that sharing a meal can be a powerful act of friendship and unity. We are proud of our Grade 5 students for living out these lessons through their words and actions. |
