Today we wore blue!

April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day! This day is all about helping people understand autism better and showing kindness and support to everyone, no matter how they are different from us. It’s a day where people wear blue to show they care and to spread awareness.

Did you know that April is Autism Awareness Month? It’s a special time to learn more about autism and celebrate people who have autism. Autism is something that makes people’s brains work a little differently. People with autism might see the world in a unique way, and they might have different ways of talking, learning, or doing things. Everyone with autism is different, but they are all special and important!

What is Autism?

Autism is a condition that affects how a person thinks, learns, and experiences the world around them. Some people with autism might be really good at remembering facts, solving puzzles, or being creative! Others might find certain sounds, lights, or situations a little overwhelming. But just like you and me, people with autism have things they love to do, friends they care about, and dreams for the future.
Happy Autism Awareness Month!
