Students had the opportunity to experience the world of opera right here at school!
e performers not only sang beautifully but also took time to explain what opera is, how stories are told through music, and how singers use their voices to express powerful emotions without microphones. Students learned that opera combines music, drama, costumes, and storytelling all in one performance.
Opportunities like this help broaden our students’ understanding of the arts and introduce them to forms of storytelling they may not otherwise encounter. Bringing live performance into our gym reminds us that learning can happen anywhere and that the arts play an important role in helping us explore creativity, culture, and expression.
