| This week, our Grade 1B and Grade 3B Reading Buddies came together for a special social-emotional learning activity. Students listened to the social story A Bad Case of Tattle Tongue by Julia Cook. It is a fun and thoughtful book that helps children learn the difference between tattling and telling. After the read-aloud, students created their own “tattle tongues.” On the back of each one, students wrote a personal promise about how they will try their best to avoid catching a “case of the tattle tongue.” When we learn and grow together it helps make our school a safe and fun place to be where everyone is welcome. |
