Grade 1A has been busy learning all about birds, and what an adventure it has been! Students have explored how birds have different types of feet and beaks, depending on how and where they live. They’ve also discovered how birds use camouflage to stay safe in their environments.
To bring their learning to life, each student designed and created their own bird, using what they've learned. These amazing creations are now on display in their very own Grade 1A Bird Observatory right in the classroom!
It’s been a wonderful way to blend science, art, and creativity. Be sure to stop by and check out the observatory—these birds are worth a visit!
